Tatiana writes about her works:
«I gain my inspiration from architectural forms, cozy streets and squares in various cities of the world which I visit, get acquainted with and observe. For me, spending time in the art studio is a way to escape the rush of ‘ordinary’ everyday life, work, obligations, etc… It invariably takes me a long time to develop my graphic works, I love detail, and while drawing and engraving I indulge in every scratch. During the process I often observe details which I had not noticed when I saw the object face-to-face. This is what I find most fulfilling. So, drawing for me is like a way of ‘gaining new eyes’ on what I have seen. Moreover, making etchings provides some order for my soul and brain — while there is a bustling world on the other side of my window, for me it is not as important as the order I create as I work on my engraving.»
